Gordon's grandfather was a member of Fred Karno's Army, which famously included Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel. His father followed on in the entertainment industry and featured on Television.

You could say therefore, that 'showbiz' is in Gordon's blood and he has always found it the natural course to follow and when you meet him, it shows.

Typically, his first job was playing some of the sound effects on 'The Archers' radio programme. At this time, local radio was just starting up, and the lure of the other side of the microphone proved too strong. The rest, as they say, is history. Gordon soon became a much sought after presenter and went on to win a number of media awards. One of his biggest breaks came when Chris Tarrant, now famous for hosting 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire', left the Saturday morning kids TV show 'Tiswas' and the producers of the program turned to Gordon. This in turn led to his being offered lots of live work.

It was around this time that Gordon joined the WCM and he rapidly progressed in magic where he has worked in such arenas as the stage of the London Palladium and the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Gordon is also artistic director with Black Hart Productions, who offer as a corporate entertainment, a 'Haunted House' themed night and Murder Mystery evenings.

As if this wasn't enough, Gordon is also busy with his Tarot, Palm and Rune readings. He is also one of the few commercial Graphologists around and always in demand reading clients handwriting. In 2002, he became 'Official Graphologist to the England cricket team and joined them on tour to analyse the handwriting of both players and corporate and celebrity guests.

He has enjoyed two successful terms as President of the WCM, in 1994 and 1997 and remains a central member of the society.

Gordon currently lives in the US and is an onary Life member of the WCM.
